Zoning Ordinance
As of March 31, 2013, the Village has full control of zoning outside of shoreland areas, which will still be under Winnebago County zoning restrictions. The Community Development Department and the Village Planning Commission have worked very hard to create a Zoning Ordinance that implements the goals, objectives, and policies of the Villages Comprehensive Plan; that establishes clear and consistent standards, regulations, and procedures for the review of proposed development within the Village; and that establishes minimum standards for the sustainable use of land.
