The Fire Prevention Division is responsible for all fire prevention and assists with community risk reduction activities. These activities include but are not limited to code enforcement; coordination of fire inspections; plan review; above ground and underground tank inspection; and fire cause and origin investigations. Fox Crossing Fire Department utilizes the International Fire Code 2012 Edition as the guiding document for code enforcement. Most commercial and multifamily occupancies require a minimum of two annual inspections by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. Fire prevention inspections are completed by various fire department staff during normal business hours.
