Thank you for contacting the Village of Fox Crossing Street department. The village offices continues to be closed due to the CORNA 19 virus and will remain closed until further notice.

Garbage/recycling and yard waste pick up is being picked up and on schedule. Check your garbage/recycling calendar or go on the web site to view the calendar for your scheduled pickup.

Due to the heavy flow of yard waste, your yard waste may not be picked up on your scheduled day so please leave it out and they will pick it up as soon as they can. Should you have any questions or have any issues. Please call Advanced Disposal Services at 1-800-688-4285.

The village has cancelled the first week of the Spring Brush Chipping Program scheduled to begin on April 13th  but will begin the chipping program on the week of April 20th through the week ending May 8.  And then begin the summer program as scheduled at this time.

The village’s brush drop-off site will be open on April 13th as scheduled. Site hours are Monday thru Saturday from 7AM to 4PM. Site is open only to village residence. NO YARD WASTE! See the web site for the drop-off site policy. Security cameras will be monitoring the site.

You may contact our office by either leaving a voice message or by email and we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re able to.

The street department, through our engineering, streets, street lighting, transportation, and equipment replacement program, is responsible for the maintenance of 97 miles of village road, street department vehicles and equipment; and administration and implementation of all phases of a Public Works Department, along with maintaining good working conditions to perform such duties.

The Street Department performs such duties as snow and ice removal, street sweeping, installation and repair of street signs, road repair, ditching, brush chipping, tree and brush control, roadside weed cutting, shouldering, and storm water related duties.
